Hi Everyone, we hope you have all had a safe and healthy year! We are delighted to let you all know that the Santa Truck will be back on the road this year. The good news is for this year we have decided to to pick a charity to partner up with for the few weeks we are out on the roads.
The charity chosen is LauraLynn. As many of you know LauraLynn is a childrens hospice the only one in Ireland. LauraLynn's mission is to provide a Community of Care that delivers evidence-based, personalised services to children with palliative care needs, complex care needs and complex disabilities, while also providing family support services and a home to our residents where quality-of-life is paramount. We have chosen this charity as Christmas is a magical time of year but can also be a very hard, difficult and upsetting time for other people and there families too. We feel that LauraLynn provides a fantastic service to families and their children in there time of need and we want to try and help and support these in the continuous work they do. LauraLynn helps families to make the most of short and precious lives.
The Santa Truck is a non profit organisation and we do this to give the people in Kildare and surrounding areas a bit of joy, a boost, a bit of Christmas cheer that we all need in these very challenging times with Covid. Any donation regardless of how big or how small means a lot to this charity. So we would appreciate that if you can at all to donate through this link.
