Same Chance Challenge 28th April
April is Autism Awareness month. We are very proud of our many autistic pupils in Holywell, who help make our school very special for everyone. We are also in our second year of the AsIAm Autism-Friendly schools project. AsIAm provide staff with training and resources throughout the year. We are always looking for new ways to make our school a happy place where every child is celebrated and supportedd.
Sometimes not everyone gets the same opportunities to succeed. Autism Month is a chance to celebrate differences and to try and make the world more equal for EVERYONE.
In the AsIAm Same Chance Challenge - everyone has the same chance at winning and everyone is able to participate.
Our Heads or Tails Challenge reflects the Same Chance , its 50/50 , you all have an equal chance of winning.
Everyone picks heads or tails and moves to the side of the room.
If you lose, you sit down. Then we play again with the winners until there is only one person left. The winner will get a small prize such as a homework pass.
The finalist from each class will play against each other in the hall/staffroom until one person is left.
They win a treat for their whole class!
