Event Details

Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page on iDonate.ie I'm taking part in the Sky to Sea challenge on 24th June to raise vital funds for The Hygiene Bank Ireland. We will be racing from the top of Ticknock to Sandycove. This is over 14km and nearly 450m descent into the sea. For a group of amateur runners, this is no easy feat.

Our target is to raise €1,000 for The Hygiene Bank Ireland, we are grateful for donations of any size!

Over 40% of the Irish population have had to cut back on hygiene products because of their financial situation and The Hygiene Bank Ireland works to tackle this hygiene poverty by providing products in the short-term and by challenging poverty in all its forms in the longer term. We are a start up charity that was set up in 2019 so we are at an exciting stage of growth. Any support you can give will be a valuable investment in our charity and in our mission to tackle hygiene poverty.

Many thanks!

Recent Updates

On Friday, Sarah, Mallon and I completed our Sky to Sea challenge in aid of The Hygiene Bank Ireland. It at kilometer 1, we were surrounded by fog and rain, by kilometer 7 it had brightened up, but the stitches were setting in, and finishing at kilometer 14, we were welcomed by a beautiful sunset in Dun Laoghaire, but we had lost all feeling in our legs. It's taken all weekend to recover but ultimately we're glad we did it so we could raise some money for our chosen charity- The Hygiene Bank Ireland. Please continue to donate, all funds are really gratefully received!
