Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Swimming the English channel is one of the toughest events in the world. 5 people have climbed Everest for every 1 that has successfully crossed the channel.
Growing up in a hotbed of open water swimmers in Galway Bay, it was always a goal of mine to get across the channel. I have dedicated 18 months of my life to this and have emptied the tank in terms of discipline and motivation. I cannot describe how tough the training has been.
In saying that, swimming the channel is much easier than dealing with cancer. Cancer Care West have offered great support to people I know recieving treatment but also to their family member affected by cancer. It would mean the world if all my training could be translated into money for Cancer Care West to help them continue their services.
Please donate below and allow Cancer Care West to continue the amazing work they do. Swimming the channel isn't important, but ensuring Cancer Care West stays in operation is.
