<p>At Nazareth House Fahan, we have numerous residents that have cognitive challenges and/or whom are diagnosed with dementia.  We initiated a demonstration for our residents with the interactive activity table <strong>Tovertafel</strong>, whereby all the residents who participated in it, just loved it!</p> <p>The <strong>Tovertafel</strong> is an award-winning serious games system designed to create a more caring and inclusive world for people with cognitive challenges. Tovertafel means ‘Magic Table’ in Dutch, and magic is exactly what this technology brings to the players, our residents.</p> <p>The Tovertafel’s innovative light projections will challenge residents to develop or maintain their skills in a fun and playful way. The Tovertafel provides care that is designed to create meaningful connections and enrich their quality of life.</p> <p>We are for now looking to procure one Tovertafel for the residents of Nazareth House Fahan.</p>
