<p>Various residents within our care require additonal stimulation and support, especially after a stroke. Having looked at various ways to assist them, we have identified a piece of equipment that will be of benefit.</p> <p>This is the MOTOmed viva2 light arm & leg trainer, which provides a means whereby people with limited or no movement get regular exercise in active or passive mode for either legs or arms.</p> <p>Operating Modes:<br /> • Passive training for lower & upper limbs (the user&#39;s legs or arms are moved by the motor)<br /> • Assisted training (the user may have limited muscle strength and the motor provides assistance to maintain movement)<br /> • Active training (the user is able to pedal without motor assistance)<br /> Included:<br /> • Safety footshells with leg guides<br /> • Handlebar<br /> • Wheels for easy transport<br /> • Arm trainer<br />  </p>
