I'm doing Steps for Stroke 2023 to fundraise for Cork Stroke Support. Your support is very much appreciated.

15 months ago I suffered a stroke: luckily I was taken quickly by ambulance to the Mercy Hospital, where I received excellent medical care. 

When I went home I found daily life very difficult. I went to the Cork Stroke Support Centre where I was given a very warm welcome. With the help and support I received there I have regained my confidence and strength, and I am now able to live a full independent happy life.
