I'm doing the Sligo Rovers FC 50km Challenge fundraiser in memory of my dad and all great supporters of the club who have passed away over the years. My dad brought me to my first Sligo Rovers game and he also brought my son Adam to his first game many years later. Adam has also fallen in love with the club and now helps sell the match day programme along with some other wonderful supporters on match nights. Without all the great supporters who have gone before us, (some who I had the pleasure to meet in person), our club as we know it today might not be in existence.
