Good luck
Best of luck Dave - heard that a lot of Kerry is quite flat, would you believe that???
Can't cram any more mileage into the legs, time to wind down, relax and hopefully feel fresher as a result, come 0600hrs Saturday morning! Today I did some marshal work for Swords Cycling Clubs 'Two County Challenge' and got to experience a little more than I bargained for - everybody made it home tho, some a little later than others, some tired, some sore. So much goes into these sportives, clubs, volunteers, biker/outriders, marshals, first aiders, emergency services, caterers, mechanics all giving their time for these good causes. A massive thanks to all who help to make these events happen.
12 days to go! Getting the miles in and feeling it, in both my legs and my butt! The bike is feeling it too. I find myself tending to its needs a bit more frequently than B4. Blew a tyre out today, so new one en route, may as well give it another clean whilst it's been taken apart. Looking forward to the big day now. I'll be accompanied by my ski buddy, Terry and a few thousand others, gonna be epic!
