In just under 10 weeks, on the 30th July, I am taking part in my first mini triathlon :) Since I started open water swimming, this was on my do list - triathlon before turning 45🙈 I can’t believe it’s happening;)

I was lucky to be chosen  to join KOG10 Team, and train with the experts for King of Greystones. 

A sprint triathlon is a mini-triathlon that consists of a 750-metre swim, a 20km cycle and a 5km run. 

I haven't been doing much running this year, and never took part in a bike race. 

I only got a helmet now, and took the basket  off my city bike to start training 🙈so this is a real challenge for me 😀 I am excited and scared at the same time, so wish me luck ;) 🍀

I've chosen to fundraise for The Gavin Glynn Foundation , Helping families fighting childhood cancer in Ireland. All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause ❤️.

This triathlon is a real challenge for me, but the fact that I am doing this also to help sick children, and in memory of little Gavin is making me stronger.
