AMACH! LGBT Galway Ltd. aims to reflect equally the diversity within the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community by encouraging positive participation from the community. We actively advocate to achieve a solid and safe support structure for the LGBT community in Galway. We aim to provide awareness, educational and training events and workshops and endeavour to support and promote a socially inclusive society. Our Mission Advocating for individuals living with HIV, preventing new HIV infections and combating HIV-related stigma and discrimination. Our Objectives To work towards reducing the prevalence of HIV in Ireland through effective prevention strategies. To increase public awareness and understanding around HIV and AIDS and to reduce the stigma and discrimination connected with HIV and AIDS. To improve the quality of life for people living with HIV through quality evidence-based support
LINC is the only community development organisation working exclusively with Lesbian and Bisexual women in the Republic of Ireland. Through the LINC Resource Centre, we have completed a comprehensive outreach training and development programme. We also actively engage with various representative groups in the community including the young women’s group, lesbian parents’ group, the group founded to support the parents of lesbian and bisexual women and the older lesbian group.
Outcomers aims to support and empower the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community in a safe and welcoming environment in order to advance the quality of their lives. We also aim to raise awareness of and challenge the discrimination and injustice in society, while supporting organisations to implement equality and inclusiveness policies. Provide guidance to support, for organisations who are involved in supporting young LGBT people.
OutWest is a voluntary social and support group for the LGBT+ community in the West of Ireland. We have been supporting the community since 1997 and hope to continue advocating for equality well into the future with your help and support.
