I'm taking part in the Donegal Camino this September. The itinerary includes Malin Head, Knockalla, Horn Head, Errigal, Oileáin Toraigh, Mahery, Ardara and finishing with Sliabh Liag. I hope to be able for the challenge !  I am up early every morning walking Dobby a rescue Lurcher, but he thinks his goal in life is to join the Garda Dog Unit and its more of a hunt than a hike !

I've chosen to fundraise for Cancer Care West. I am proud to work for the Charity as their Operations Manager, based in Inis Aoibhinn our 33 bedroom residence located in the grounds of University Hospital, Galway. Providing accommodation for patients undergoing radiotherapy (this can be up to 8 weeks in duration). Our support Centre in Letterkenny is located on the 2nd Floor, Station House, Pearse Road, please give Patricia a call to find out more -  074 9601901.  The Galway Support Centre is based in Westside and Anne would be delighted to take your call on 091 540040. Both centres provide a range of psychological supports with clinical and counselling psychologists & oncology nursing advice. There are also a vast array of classes including yoga, exercise & nutrition, patients can also avail of manual lymphatic drainage.

All of Cancer Care West's vital services are provided at no cost to patients and their families and we rely heavily on charitable fundraising and donations to meet the cost of these services.   Simply click the Donate button above. All donations are processed securely.
