On the 12th of April myself and a bus full of friends will be setting off in an attempting to swim in every coastal county of Ireland in just 2 days.
We are putting ourselves through this preposterous challenge to raise funds for the care and recovery of our good friend Padraig who was involved in a road accident while on a J1 in Cape Cod last summer. Padraig has been in a coma since his accident and is currently receiving specialised treatement in Germany.
All participants must raise €250 each, so to ensure I have a soggy and cold seat on the bus, donate as genrously as you can!
Thanks in advance, more details on the event can be found here:
Just picked your name randomly. So impressed with what ye are doing. Best of luck to all.

About the Cause
Caring for Padraig
Padraig Schaler, a 2013 TCD graduate from Glasnevin, Dublin, acquired a very severe brain injury when he was hit by a van on 27 June 2013 as he cycled to work on Cape Cod. Nobody was ever prosecuted.
He is now living with his family in Dublin. He requires 24-hour care and is fully dependent.
All proceeds go to the Caring for Padraig fund, administered by a Committee independent of the family.
