My name is Sorcha, and I am a Senior Speech & Language Therapist working in St James Hospital Dublin. I am absolutely privileged to have the opportunity to work with CHEERS: DHT and to travel to Kisiizi Hospital, Uganda with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals in April 2024.

This will be my first trip with CHEERS: DHT, and our focus will be on developing community healthcare services and promoting the education and training of healthcare professionals in Kisiizi Hospital. The trip is entirely self-funded, and all funds raised here will go directly to this great cause.
