This July, I’m taking part in the Clontarf Half Marathon to raise vital funds for a cause very close to my heart, the Irish Lung Fibrosis Association (ILFA) — the only charity in Ireland dedicated to supporting people living with Pulmonary Fibrosis, a progressive and life-limiting lung disease.

I’m running this year for my amazing Dad, who is currently undergoing treatment for Pulmonary Fibrosis (PF).

PF affects thousands across Ireland, causing scarring of the lungs and making every breath a challenge.

ILFA provides essential services like patient support, advocacy, education, and funding for research, helping individuals and families cope with this devastating condition.

With no cure currently available, ILFA’s work is more important than ever. Every euro raised will go towards improving the quality of life for those affected, offering hope, care, and practical assistance.

I’m beyond proud to “run”/walk for this incredible cause — but I need your support!
