Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page on iDonate.ie I've chosen to fundraise for Croi . All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause. My Dad died from heart issues when I was 24 and at 58 I had three stents inserted in to my arteries. It means that I can continue to enjoy climbing in some beautiful places in the world. So I am going back to Nepal to climb Island Peak which is 6189mtrs high. The dates for the trip is Oct 2nd to Oct 24th. To do this we will be crossing creavasses with ladders across them, using crampons and ice ax as we cross glaciers and using fixed ropes to ascend the headwall to reach the ridge that leads to the summit.
