About the Cause
Cork Life Centre
Cork Life Centre is a voluntary organisation that offers a second chance at education to 55 young people between the ages of 12-18 years who for various reasons have not thrived in a mainstream educational setting.
Over 70 staff members of the Centre offer students 1:1 tuition in the core Junior and Leaving Cert subjects and support them in their preparation for these State Exams.

The Ronald McDonald House Charity provides accommodation and a caring and supportive environment for 20 families every night while their children are seriously ill and are hospitalised or undergoing medical treatment at Children’s Health, Crumlin, Dublin 12. Currently, we are focused on raising €19 million in order to build a new 52 bedroom Ronald McDonald House alongside the New Children's Hospital in Dublin 8.
Dementia presents one of the greatest population health challenges both here in Ireland and globally. It affects almost 64,000 people and touches the lives of carers and hundreds of thousands of family members. We in turn, offer hope, as well as much needed practical support and donations such as yours go such a long way in helping us to provide services to those who really need them.
