In an attempt to raise money for DEBRA, I plan to walk 40km carrying a 10kg weight on the roads and mountains of Kerry om 17^th-19th May as part of The Kerry Challenge. Any discomfort I may feel pales into insignificance compared to a lifetime of pain endured by a person with EB. Believe or not that is equivalent to only 14 days of bandages used by an individual living with severe EB. Its also the weight of a car tyre.
