This February I'll be aiming to run everyday for 28 days, to raise awareness and fundraise for Bone Marrow for Leukaemia Trust C.L.G.
12 years ago I was diagnosed with leukaemia and during my first cycle of chemotherapy I spent 28 days in isolation in the Burkitts Ward, in St. James's Hospital. Now I’m looking to endure a different type of pain and run each of the 28 days this February.

The Bone Marrow for Leukaemia Trust was established in 1980, and has provided ongoing support for the development of the National Bone Marrow Transplant Programme at St James's Hospital since that time. Funds raised by the Trust provide crucial support to patients and families undergoing these complex treatments, including specialist nursing and other vital supports.
