NRFA Cycle for Aoibheann’s Pink Tie – Wild Atlantic Way Challenge 2025

This September, over 140 firefighters from across Ireland and the USA will take on an epic challenge: cycling the iconic Wild Atlantic Way – all in support of Aoibheann’s Pink Tie , Ireland’s national children’s cancer charity.

Who We Are:
We are members of the National Retained Firefighters Association (NRFA) , united by a commitment to serve our communities. In 2025, we’re joining forces and pushing our limits – on two wheels – to support children and families battling cancer.

When & Where:
Race Start - Newcastle West, Limerick
Race Finish - Kinsale, Cork
Race Start Date - 7th September 2025
Race Finish Date - 11th September 2025
Route: A scenic but tough stretch of the Wild Atlantic Way, showcasing some of Ireland’s most breathtaking coastal landscapes.

Saturday 06/09/2025 meet and greet in Newcastle West county Limerick.
Day one of cycle Sunday 07/09/2025
Newcastle West to Foynes- Tarbart - Ballybunion. lunch in Ballybunion- Listowel- Abbeyfeale-Castle island-Tralee.
Day Two Monday 08/09/2025.
Tralee-Connors pass-Dingle-Inch-Castlemaine- Killarney.
Day Three Tuesday 09/09/2025.
Killarney- Molls gap-Kenmare (lunch)-Bantry.
Day Four Wednesday 10/09/2025.
Bantry-Skull-Skibbereen-Clonakilty-Bandon-Kinsale.
Day Five 11/09/2025.
