After the hugely successful Table Quiz, where the Tobin family raised nearly €2,500, next on the list of fundraisers is a motorbike run!

Starting at the Hells Angels Club House, this run invites all bikers and enthusiasts to hit the road in support of a great cause.

Every euro raised goes directly to Brú Columbanus, helping them continue their work in supporting families through difficult times. Please come along, spread the word, and help us make both events a success.

Bru Columbanus was inspired by a little boy named Aaron Kiely, who at just 11 months was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer. His family were living in England at the time. and had to travel some distance for Aaron to receive treatment. On arrival at the hospital his family were given the keys to accommodation, the name of the accommodation was “Click House” and so the anxiety of finding and funding accommodation was alleviated.

Aaron Kiely’s uncle is a superintendant based at Togher Garda Station. A short time later gentleman named Tom Walsh approached Charlie Barry on behalf of the Knights of St. Columbanus. The Knights wanted to do something community based. Charlie suggested replicating the services provided in “Click House”.
