Hi there,
My name is Trina O'Dea from a beautiful village of Croom in Co. Limerick and I am taking part in OCF Lollipop Day 2024. I've chosen to fundraise for the Oesophageal Cancer Fund (OCF) in memory of my late mother Peggy Devaney (nee Kelleher) from Croom and formally Patrickswell, Co. Limerick. All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause.
Mam was diagnosed in 2009 with Oesophageal Cancer - the prognosis at the time wasn't good for her but, thanks to all the research and advances on information of this cancer and with the exceptional care of her medical team at the Mercy Hospital in Cork - mam beat her cancer - even with all the odds stacked against her. This is something our family will be eternally grateful for as it gave us 13 years with her before her passing in 2022 aged 74.
Now, we want to give back by fundraising for OCF Lollipop Day 2024 so that future families can continue to benefit from the knowledge, support and research we did.
I hope you can help me by donating whatever you can. Simply click the Donate button above. All donations are processed securely and go directly to OCF.
