of a worldwide network of over 1.45 million members.
This year the Irish Lions Clubs are
partnering up with Childhood Cancer Ireland. This is a parent and survivor-led charity to promotes
awareness of Childhood Cancer in Ireland. Childhood Cancer Ireland works with hospitals nationwide to upgrade
their treatment facilities and also offer help to families through advice, understanding and psychosocial support programmes such as peer-to-peer support, workshops, play and psychotherapy for siblings and children, adolescents and young adults who have received a cancer diagnosis.
