This year Achill GAA is going to have a group of Achill GAA supporter’s cycle from Croke Park Dublin, to Davitt Park, Achill. We will have 10 to 15 cyclists make the 300km cycle. The cycle will take place on 1 day, Saturday 26th April. We may cycle the opposite direction on that day depending on the wind direction forecast and whether Mayo get to the League Final, scheduled for Sunday April 27th.
The event is a fundraiser and cyclists will be expected to seek sponsorship for Achill GAA and Western Care. Training for this event has already commenced and cyclists can be seen around Achill and elsewhere preparing for the One Day, One Way 300km Cycle Challenge.
Fundraising is underway and Achill GAA this year will donate part of the funds to Western Care. We have sponsorship cards at various locations throughout the parish and look forward to you supporting this event Please.
