the people of Kerry.

Pallia"ve care services provide pain relief, physical, psychological and spiritual support for

the pa"ents, their families and their greater support networks. It is a service that has been and

will be required by so many of us at some point in our lives along with being an invaluable

Everest on the Carrauntoohil: On the June Bank Holiday weekend Saturday to Monday Liz Fenton will be attempting to climb Carrauntoohil 15 and one third times - the height of Everest which stands at 29,030 feet.
The event is in aid of the Kerry Hospice Foundation and in memory of a remarkable individual, Tony O Halloran who lost his battle to cancer in February this year. This event also forms part of Team Tony which will see 35 friends family and colleagues of Tony Cycle the Ring of Kerry on July 5th. Palliative care services provide pain relief, physical, psychological and spiritual support for the patients, their families and their greater support networks. It is a service that has been and will be required by so many of us at some point in our lives along with being an invaluable facility in our community

Over 30 cyclists will take part in the Ring of Kerry on July 5th as part of Team Tony, in aid of the Kerry Hospice Foundation. They will take on the 170km cycle supported by colleagues’ family, friends and the O Halloran/Healy family.

This is being done in memory of a remarkable individual who lost his battle with cancer in February of this year and in support of the Kerry Hospice Foundation which funds the provision of palliative care services to the people of Kerry.

Tony and his family were given comforting care and support in addition to the extreme kindness shown by each member of the Palliative Care team throughout a journey that words simply cannot describe.

It is a service that has been and will be required by so many of us at some point in our lives along with being an invaluable facility in our community.
