This October, I have set myself the challenge of running two separate marathons - the Run Galway Bay Marathon 2023 (7-10) and the Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2023 (29-10) in one month to raise funds for ISPCC Childine. I am not a runner and before setting this challenge would struggle to complete a mile without stopping so was quite unfit. But I decided to set myself a tough challenge to raise money for an important cause and maybe even inspire a few people along the way that if I can run a marathon that you can run a 5k, 10k, half marathon or marathon of your own!
