Newcastle west camogie club have decided to partner with an amazing charity Cliona's foundation. Cliona's Foundation provide help to families who are dealing with financial crisis while caring for a child with a life limiting illness. Without the support of donations Cliona's foundation would not be where it is today, helping families with a life limiting illness, since the foundation began in 2007, it has helped over 500 families throughout Ireland. Each year the Cliona's foundation rely on the generosity of the public to raise much needed funds to continue to support families with critically ill children, We pledge to use our fundraiser to also create more awareness about Cliona's foundation and also share in the donations to this extremely worthy cause.

MORE ABOUT OUR CLUB 

Newcastle West Camogie Club won their first Limerick County Senior title in 2019, they reached the final every year since,  winning it again in 2021, they have played in two Munster semi-finals and that Munster title we know is well within our reach!!! (see our history for more club facts).

In keeping on track with our mantra of ' onward and upwards', we are moving with the times and with that, the expenses on the club have increased significantly over the years, fees for the use of pitches, (as we are yet to acquire our own) ,  night-time lights, equipment, specialized training etc the list is endless  but this is just a small sample of some of the larger outlays for our senior team. NCW Camogie wants to ensure the club have all the tools and resources needed for them to keep on our upward trajectory.

With this in mind, we are fundraising to help our girls strive to be the best that they can be,  , while also ensuring we can honor the commitment shown by our adult team and do all within our power to make their experience performing as an unpaid elite athlete while holding down careers and college, the best experience that it can be. At the core our club is driven by being a community & supporting one another on & off the pitch, &  We need your support!
