A Special Education Teacher and a group of Transition Year students from Firhouse Community College took on the task of first building a garden shed from scratch. It was a student led project where all measuring, cutting, hammering, and painting was completed almost entirely by the students. With great enthusiasm and hard work, the students have completed the building phase of the project.
The students chose Pieta House as the charity to get the proceeds from the raffling of the garden shed. The launch of this raffle is Friday at 12.30 pm in Firhouse Community College. We invite you to promote this worthy cause as we hope to raise funds for the wonderful work of Pieta House.  We would also like to showcase and celebrate the hard work, skill, determination and charity work of a very special group of students.
Draw will take place on 22nd December.
