1st prize: The original Gerard Byrne artwork, framed & signed, worth €8,000 - 10,000
2nd prize: A framed, signed print of the original artwork with Certificate Of Authenticity (worth €725), also includes two tickets for dinner and drinks at SCOOP's Better Than Socks Xmas Dinner & Auction taking place on the 12th of November in The Chocolate Factory in Dublin (worth €200)
3rd prize: A signed print of the original artwork with Certificate Of Authenticity (worth €550)

A limited run of 100 prints (worth €550 each but selling for €225 which includes P&P and the Certificate of Authenticity ) are also available on our Online Store (for context one of Gerard's framed prints sold for €3100 at our Art Auction last April). The SCOOP Art Raffle

The SCOOP Foundation is delighted to announce that we will be holding an Art Raffle in October 2021! This will be the first raffle as part of our new annual fundraising campaign. 


Our first art raffle consists of an original artwork by acclaimed Irish artist Gerard Byrne (pictured). This artwork is part of an interesting collection called “Art in Lockdown” which was created by the artist during the 2020 lockdown in Dublin. This special artwork was has been featured on the RTE news & Nationwide Programmes.

The piece is titled “The artist on the roof”. The painting is oil on canvas measuring 120cm x 60cm in size. The artwork was framed by Artisan Framers.



There is an opportunity to purchase a limited edition print as part of this Fundraiser. We were lucky to have a print by Gerard Byrne in our Annual Art Auction this year which sold for €3,100! 

Prints can be purchased at the two live events and / or on our online store for €225 which includes P&P and the Certificate of Authenticity. There will be a discounted price of €200 for prints purchased during our live events. Our SCOOP Crew members can purchase a print at the special price of €175 either at the live event, or online with the code sent to them in an email (Learn more about becoming a SCOOP Crew member here).

We are so excited to get back to hosting events! There will be two live events for this fundraiser where you will be able to view the artwork, buy raffle tickets, purchase a limited edition print and enjoy a glass of wine on us! 

The first event will take place in Gerard Byrne's Studio in Ranelagh, Dublin 6 on Wednesday October the 20th 2021 @ 7pm. 

The second event will be in Dig In restaurant on Camden Street, Dublin 2 on Wednesday the 27th October 2021 @ 7pm

SCOOP will be following all government COVID guidelines in place at the time of the events. More details to follow. 



The proceeds raised from this campaign will fund our SCOOP Ed programmes which support young adults living in Displacement Camps in Iraqi Kurdistan and in Direct Provision Centres in Ireland. A percentage of the funds raised will also go into our “Artist Fund” which aims to give back to the art community and funds programmes such as the SCOOP Artist Residency

Art Raffle tickets are priced as follows: 

1 ticket – €10

5 tickets – €25 

15 tickets – €50 

SCOOP Crew members will receive double entries for each ticket purchased (email us)

Art Raffle ticket sales will be open until October 28th at 5pm, which is the day / evening of the online draw.

The Draw 

The Draw will be made on Thursday October 28th at 8pm and will be streamed live across our social media platforms.
