Prize 1: Large blanket Box of Spanish chestnut with scented cedar of Lebanon lining from Fota. 800mm x 550m x450mm deep. Maker: Anthony Aylward.

Prize 2: Unique hand quilted double sided throw with multiple layered graphic patterns in rich tones of blue and purple 1500mm x 1350mm. Maker: Mary Palmer, Marimu Designs.

Prize 3: "Crystal Waters" porcelain seascape, mounted on board, 430 x 240 mm. Maker: Sara Roberts

Prize 4: Two mixed stoneware sculptural ceramic vessels inspired by Garrettstown. Maker: Bernadette Tuite, Rock and Water Ceramics.

Prize 5: Stained Glass Heron on an ash base, 460mm x 300mm. Maker: Gary Aubin, Grange Glass.

Prize 22: Hamper - X2 beech wood cheese and vegetable serving boards from the makers Don & Eamon O'Sullivan. Enclosed also in the hamper; a tea pot and tea cosy from Haven Yards, along with a cast glass paper weight and pack of ocean inspired cards from The Wild Felter.

Cork Craft & Design have come up with a crafty new initiative to raise funds in aid of Marymount University Hospital and Hospice.

Talented craft members from across the County of Cork and beyond have come together to donate a bumper raffle of 24 prizes in high quality handmade crafts. 

The top prizes in the fundraiser include a bespoke blanket box from furniture maker Anthony Aylward worth €650.00, a life size stained glass Heron by Gaby Aubin valued at €250.00 and a beautifully intricate quilted patchwork throw and cushions by award winning textile artist Mary Palmer with a price tag of over €600.00.
