Hey guys! While I'm better made for water than I am for land, I've deceided to take the bulls by the horns and do the mini-marathon on the 2nd of June, for a very special cause. This year I'm doing it for Paddy (Padraig) Schaler, a friend and neighbour, who was in a serious accident cycling to work in Cape Code in June 2013. This is a fantastic cause and one which is very close to me. Any donations, no matter how big or small would be greatly appreictated but more importantly will help Paddy and his family get the continuing, specialised treatment he needs to recover fully.
To see you run is worth every cent. 10 kilometers that's 32808.4 feet. It's 10 feet to the kitchen and that's "too much effort". Just to put that in perspective.

About the Cause
Caring for Padraig
Padraig Schaler, a 2013 TCD graduate from Glasnevin, Dublin, acquired a very severe brain injury when he was hit by a van on 27 June 2013 as he cycled to work on Cape Cod. Nobody was ever prosecuted.
He is now living with his family in Dublin. He requires 24-hour care and is fully dependent.
All proceeds go to the Caring for Padraig fund, administered by a Committee independent of the family.
