Again this year myself, my Mam Ann Mc Veigh and cousin Caroline Donnelly Foley have decided to try our best and run the Flora Mini Marathon on June 2nd for two charities 'A chance for Alice' and 'Diabetes Ireland'. A chance for Alice is a charity raising money for an 18month toddler suffering from high risk neuroblastoma cancer who needs to travel to America to receive the treatment she desperately needs. The second charity is one close to home, Diabetes Ireland who give patients who suffer with type 1 or type 2 diabetes the help they need, and are continually fundraising for a cure for diabetes. I'm not asking for hundreds all I ask is for anything you could offer to support these two charities. Thanks guys 😊🏃 x

About the Cause
A Chance for Alice
"A Chance for Alice" has been set up to raise funds for the treatment of baby Alice Turner in her battle against Neuroblastoma, an aggressive childhood cancer which has an extremely high chance of relapse. Funds raised go to the treatment in the U.S. that Alice will ultimately need which can prevent relapse of the disease.
Diabetes Ireland is the only national charity in Ireland dedicated to helping people with diabetes, because of the support of fundraisers and donors we can provide support, care, information and education to those effected by diabetes.
Your support also enables us, as an organisation, to raise publice awareness of diabetes, its symptoms and to fund research into finding a cure for diabetes.
