Two men will attempt to raise money for a local charity Slainte an Chlair. They will try to break the Guinness World Record for the longest singles snooker marathon. The current record officially stands at 72 hours, although this has been surpassed by two brothers in England unofficially with a 76 hour attempt. To ensure success our lads will aim for eighty hours.
Special guest, Ken Doherty will also be at the event over the weekend, with the highlight being an exhibition by himself on the Sunday night. Here he will entertain the crowd and play against some of the local talent, the county has to offer.
