A Voluntary Medical Transport Service for the transportation of bloods, blood products, medicines, human donor milk for premature babies, minor organs, scans, x-rays and any other requirements necessary to be transported between hospitals, hospices, Medical centres and other medical facilities both within our community and countrywide, our service may be free, but it is delivered to the highest standards and is fully traceable from hospital to hospital.  

Blood Bikes survive solely from fundraising and sponsorship, without this blood bikes would be unable to survive. Not “ONE CENT” is receive from the Government towards the running upkeep or the service of our vehicles, in 2018 we provided over 8760 volunteer hrs of service to the hospitals.

Blood Bikes operate to a very high professional standard and comply with current legislation and EU Directive 8.2.2003 /EU3373, HPRA / NICE guidelines, we continually monitor and update our activities to ensure we maintain our high standards, High-visibility and liveried vehicles mean our drivers / riders are very visible to the public, identity Cards are carried by all our riders which are visible at all times when on duty.

Blood Bike Leinster have been providing a voluntary medical transport service to the Hospitals, Hospices and Medical Centres completely "FREE" of charge since 2013.
