Recovery Self Help Method Ireland
Recovery Self Help Method, Ireland is a HSE-funded, Irish charity, that provides a specialised form of cognitive-behavioural training to its members.
This Recovery method has helped thousands of Irish people live more peaceful and productive lives, despite severe mental health problems, such as anxiety, bipolar disorders and depression.
Clinical research published in the American Journal of Psychiatry and over 75 years of practice use, has shown that people who use the Recovery method use fewer tranquillisers, less medication in general, and need less psychological support from others.

Each year Recovery provides over 15,000 patient-hours of vital care to its members in 22 locations around Ireland. There is no charge to members for this service.
To provide these meetings, we have to rent space in 21 different community buildings and run a head office to provide administrative support. While we receive a small annual grant from the HSE, this does not cover the meeting and administrative costs we have.
Therefore we badly need donations to continue our work, and to help people who are suffering poor mental health.

Recovery Self Help Method Ireland is a registered Irish charity, registration number CHY 7690.
The organisation was established in Ireland in 1971. We are the Irish division of Recovery International, which was founded in 1937 in Chicago, US.
Over the years Recovery Self Help Method Ireland has been known by a number of trade names including; Recovery Inc, Recovery International Ireland, and Abraham Low Self Help Systems.
