South Westmeath Hospice was formed in l994.
In addition to its palliative care unit in Athlone, Community based care is provided for patients in Athlone, Moate, Glasson, Castledaly, Tang, Ballymore, Ballinahown, Mount Temple, Monksland, South Roscommon and the surrounding areas.
