We were founded in the late 70's to meet the needs of homeless and marginalised young people at that time. Our ethos has always been to identify and meet the needs of families and young people in the community.Today, GDYS runs the Number 4 Project, which aims to enhance the quality of young peoples lives by providing an effective and holistic response to a wide variety of issues pertaining to young people between the ages of 13 and 25 years.
The Number 4 Project provides a variety of supports for young people:
Drop in centre (17 -25 year olds)
Counselling service (15 - 25 year olds)
Youth Employment Support (15 - 25 year olds)
Accommodation Support (18 - 25 year olds)
Education Support (13 - 25 year olds)
Funds donated will go directly towards programmes tailored to meet the needs of young people.
