ONE NIGHT. ONE PURPOSE.
Get your hot chocolate and flasks of tea ready, the Sleep Out
for Simon is Back!
Galway Simon are calling on everyone – individuals,
families, schools, companies and clubs, – to give up their bed for one
night, on Friday 6th October, with one purpose, to change the lives
of those facing homelessness in Galway, Mayo and Roscommon.
By raising funds and awareness, you are joining a movement
that ensures vulnerable people in your community have a safe place to sleep
every night and receive the wraparound supports they need to leave homelessness
behind them for good.
Organise a Sleep Out with your children in your back garden,
your friends at school, at local pitch or office and unite with hundreds of
people across the West in the fight against homelessness.
100% of funds raised go directly towards safeguarding our essential Homelessness Prevention Services across the West.
The fear and trauma of losing your home is a stark reality for more and more people in Ireland today. We need your help to safeguard our services so we can to continue providing supports to those who are living with the threat of homelessness in Galway, Mayo and Roscommon.
Over the past eight years, our Sleep Out Champions have raised a staggering €538,000.
These funds enable us to provide advice, support and practical assistance to help people stay in their own home or find a new home, and to continue to live as part of their local community.
Galway Simon looks forward to welcoming your participation in this unique event on Friday 6th October!
Your support will ensure that we can continue to be there for those who will need us most in the difficult times to come, thank you!
