About 3 weeks ago my nephew Corey Prendergast (17 years of age) had a tragic accident and suffered a severe spinal cord injury. He is currently receiving great care in the spinal unit of the Mater Hospital Dublin and will need to spend some time in the National Rehab Unit in Dun Laoghaire before coming home.

I am utterly heartbroken that Corey and his parents are going through this difficult time. My hope for this page is to help Corey & his family focus on what matters most – undergoing necessary treatment, healing, and recovery.

The funds will be used to support Corey for his medical / rehabilitation treatment, for anything that is needed to help him get home in the coming months.
