I'm taking part in 170km My Way - Ring of Kerry 2021. The challenge is to cycle 170km between 3rd June and 3rd July. To make this challenge as close to the usual Ring of Kerry experience I will complete this distance in as few bike rides as possible. Weather and family circumstances permitting I hope to complete this distance in one or two days on the roads of Cork.

I've chosen to fundraise for Breakthrough Cancer Research. All funds raised here will go directly to this fantastic charity. I'm a firm believer in supporting scientific research and the way Breakthrough Cancer Research operates is fantastic: they bring patients, scientists and clinicians together to collaborate with the aim of discovering and developing new effective treatments and cures for patients in Ireland, Europe and Internationally. The aim is to carry out targeted science research which will result in improved treatments to increase the survival rates for cancer patients.
