Team Paddison’s page

Team Paddison is a handcycling team set up by Andrew Paddison who is the handcyclist aiming to prove that whatever limitations in life you may have, ( a Thalidomider, 2 short arms and no right leg ) this shouldn't prevent you from challenging yourself. As such Andrew undertakes endurance challenges to push the boundaries and also to raise awareness around charitable causes. Whilst organising this years challenge around Ireland Andrew was very disturbed about the Ashling Murphy murder, a young teacher, out running and tragically lost her life. Violence is abhorrent and we should do everything to live in harmony. 

Hence, why Team Paddison is raising funds for WomensAid. 

Its important to understand that Andrew is unable to handcycle without a Team, as he needs assistance in and off the bike. 

The Team consists of Alun Roberts and Steve Evans both have been involved in last 2 challenges, Steve Coldicott newbie, Nicola Graham again a newbie and finally Colin Edwards the support driver.
