The Parochial Hall, Dungloe, or, the Big Hall, as it was more affectionately known, and now known as An Halla Mor, served the people of Dungloe and surrounding areas for the most part of the 20th century.
Built in 1913 (approx) it has served the people well as a parish and community venue for various social, cultural, recreational and historical events.
Recently, the hall has fallen into disrepair, in particular the heating system and floor and are in serious need of refurbishment/replacement. A few locals have come together to try and revamp the hall and bring it up to an acceptable standard. Anyone wishing to lend a hand or have any ideas regarding the use of the hall would be most welcome. It is hoped that the hall can be brought back to its former glory and continue to serve the people of the area well into the next century.
