The International Children’s Games and Cultural Festival is running since 1968 and is now the largest multi sport youth event in the world for 13-15 year olds annually.
Since 2005 a local voluntary committee known as Tralee ICG have organised teams from Tralee and Kerry to represent their county and country at the Games, which are hosted each year in different cities across Europe, Asia and America.
This year’s event takes place in Coventry in August and this fundraising effort is to help cover costs involved in the preparation, travel and participation for our young athletes in swimming, basketball and athletics.
