MTU's UNESCO Chair has a global remit to drive inclusion, human rights and sustainable development in and through sport and physical activity.

The UNESCO Chair focuses primarily on the inclusion of people with disabilities and work in partnerships to increase access and participation in all forms of physical activity, to ensure that all people have access to the wide range of health, well-being and social benefits.
