Sligo Rovers Football Club is an Irish professional football club playing in the SSE Airtricity Men's & Women's Premier Divisions. The club is based in Sligo in the West of Ireland. The club was founded in 1928 and has been in the League of Ireland since 1934, with a senior Women's team added for the first time in 2022.

Sligo Rovers Football Club is in the process of a major redevelopment of the Club’s home ground The Showgrounds, and continues to fundraise to realise this objective which is essentially to provide a world class state of the art sports facility for the fans, the teams, the Academy and ultimately the Town of Sligo.
