Ballyleague is a picturisque Village situated on the northern end of Loughree on the river Shannonon adjacent to Lanesboro Town on the Longford/Roscommon border. Ballyleague Tidy Towns Volunteers invest time,energy and a huge effort into keeping Ballyleague both clean and Tidy for the benifit of locals and Visitors alike. We are also involved in developing new projects and are currently in the process of both updating and commissioning new Tourism signage which will provide information on places of interest nearby in addition to information on biodiversity to be found in the area. The cost of providing flowers and maintaining the village is costly but our Tidt Towns committee feel it is worth it  as it keeps Ballyleague looking vibrant and welcoming.
