Pound the Pavements 2024

We are delighted to be launching our fourth year of “Pound the Pavements”. This year we have also arranged for us to meet at the Boyne Valley Greenway to start our the first steps together, you decide how much you want to do on the day. So please mark your calendars for the the launch day of Monday 3rd of June!

Date: June 3rd - Bank Holiday Monday
Time: 2pm
Location:  Wilkinstown Community Centre where we will walk the few steps to the Greenway and back again to the Centre for refreshments.

The chosen location offers safe access to a greenway and ample space for our activities. We understand that transportation is a concern as all members will need a car or lift to reach the event, we hope that by providing plenty of notice, we can accommodate as many of you as possible from Louth and Meath (we had a great turnout from both counties at our World Down Syndrome Day event).

Additionally, we  have some merchandise for our campaign, including bags, bottles, and a few t-shirts. For those not jetting off to sunnier places, we would be thrilled to see you and your family/friends at the launch and offer you the chance to pick up some of these items.

We are so lucky to have both Indaver and LMFM come on board again this year.

Like other years, the whole event  runs over 21 days from  3rd to 23rd June. If you can't make it for our launch event, you can still Pound the Pavements and cover 21km over 21 days.
