Each year World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) falls on the 21st day of the third month - representing the three copies of Chromosome 21, which define Down Syndrome (DS). This year, we are holding our big Rock your Socks fundraiser on Thursday 21st March 2024.
In a bid to raise awareness and celebrate diversity, the Down Syndrome Centre Cork are inviting workplaces, schools, creches, groups to don their best, brightest and downright awful funky socks and wear them with pride on Thursday March 21st to celebrate diversity and raise awareness in relation to children with disabilities. This is a highly successful international event and we would be delighted to have you involved in 2024.
As well as being a fun and inclusive event, Rock your Socks is also an important annual fundraiser for our Charity. Therefore, we would really appreciate it if you could make a small donation to help support us in providing best in class support to children with Down Syndrome and their families.
