On April
27, 2024, a group of almost 20 individuals will take on a skydiving
challenge to support Coolmine Therapeutic Community.
Skydiving requires a fundamental trust in external factors,
and this mirrors the challenge faced by those in recovery as they rebuild trust
in themselves and the people around them. The solidarity among the skydivers
underscores the vital role of community support in overcoming addiction. The
funds raised for Coolmine Therapeutic Community speak to the recognition that
recovery is not a solo mission but a collective effort where trusting in others
is as crucial as the leap itself.
