This June we are challenging you to dust off your goggles and swim 5k to show your support for cancer research. Be it in the in the pool or in the sea where ever is most comfortable for you to swim safely
You can spread the total distance out across the entire month of June with a daily swim or you might prefer to get your dips in at the weekend!!! Find the pace that works for you in a safe environment with the full 5k to be completed for Friday 30th June 2023.
Help us Make More Survivors
Breakthrough Cancer Research funds the efficient and effective development of new treatments for cancer. We work to significantly impact the number of people who can survive this disease. Research programmes funded by Breakthrough Cancer Research must focus on translating lab discoveries into new treatment opportunities. To this end we work closely with clinicians in practice all over Ireland so that our research is targeted at finding new options for poor prognosis and incurable cancers.
